Our Story
A short note on why Petalby looks the way it looks, and why it leaves so much out.
Our Beginning
Petalby started from a small irritation: most things sold as "luxury" ask you to look at them constantly to feel the value — bold logos, loud packaging, a story shouted rather than lived. We wanted to make the opposite. Objects and formulas confident enough to say very little, and let the quality of the material do the talking.
So we set a rule early on and have kept it since: nothing goes into a Petalby product or box unless it earns its place. Not a shade, not a scent note, not a paragraph of copy.
What We Believe
We measure our work less by what we've added than by what we've had the confidence to leave out — in formulation, in materials, and in how a room or a routine actually feels day to day.
How We Work
Linen, ceramic, glass, oat milk, rose clay — we favour materials that soften and improve with age over ones engineered to look new forever.
Our skincare favours a short, purposeful ingredient list over a long one — every inclusion has to justify the space it takes on the label.
We work with small mills, potters and formulators who care as much about restraint as we do, rather than chasing the fastest or cheapest supply chain.
Ready When You Are
Home essentials, skincare and fragrance, made with the same quiet standard throughout.
